Biography of Ed Hayes, Senior Pastor

Ed Hayes was born in New Orleans but moved to Oneonta, AL as an infant, received his schooling there, and became a Christian as a child.  Sensing God’s call to full-time vocational ministry during high school, Ed earned a master’s in theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctorate in ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Ed and Martha have been married since 1964; have 3 grown children, and 6 grand-children.  Doctor Hayes enjoys watching football, playing an occasional round of golf, and has served as senior pastor of cullmanFBC since 1983.
