The goal of Mission 1:27 is to love and serve orphans and widows through prayer, aide, and support with the desire to glorify God. We seek to spread awareness of the need to love the fatherless just as Christ loved us when we were fatherless and adopted us into His family through salvation. Our hope is that people would be encouraged to pray for how we as Christians can serve and love the fatherless and widows. Mission 1:27 also seeks to aide children and women through volunteering and services. We desire to support adoptive families or those seeking to adopt by providing guidance, financial support, and encouragement as they move through the adoption process. We recognize that these children and women are strong, brave, and independent. We believe in the calling of the church to love and serve the fatherless and the widows. Although this ministry began with members of Cullman First Baptist, our desire is to work with other churches and ministries within our community as one body of Christ to expand our mission to love on those in Cullman and throughout the world wherever God leads.
